Once again this year, the Holiday “Guignolée” of the Fondation de l’Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal brightened the lives of our most vulnerable and isolated patients.🎄
Thanks to your generosity, over 100 gift baskets were distributed, each including $200 in gift cards for groceries and shopping, as well as a delicious holiday meal lovingly prepared by the local organization GEMO. ✨ As always, the Fondation relied on the invaluable support of frontline workers to deliver these precious gifts to their recipients. 🫶
But that’s not all! In 2024, the holiday magic also made its way into the heart of the psychiatric care units. The Fondation brought board games, painting and drawing materials, books, and puzzles, creating little treasures that allowed patients to have fun, express their creativity, and, most importantly, build social connections.
