Co-chaired by Elaine Barsalou (National Bank) and Janie Bilodeau (iA Financial Group), this evening is designed for networking, heartfelt moments, and savoring exquisite bites and drinks—all while supporting the mission of the FIUSMM!
Inspired by the intense and contrasting emotions experienced daily by those living with mental health challenges, the Cocktail of Fire & Ice symbolizes both struggles and hope. Even in the darkest moments, fire and ice cast a brilliant light, a reflection of resilience and collective strength.

*PORTRAIT OF THE 2024 EDITION*
With over 300 people gathered in an atmosphere as warm as it was electrifying, the 4th edition of the Fire & Ice Cocktail raised a net total of $83,000 for the cause. This amount was directly reinvested in clinical mental health care, cutting-edge research, as well as the recovery and social reintegration of the Institute's patients.
Highlights of the evening included:
- An interactive auction to support the cause;
- Delicious bites from Lola Rosa, Morso, and Ufrost, along with a cocktail and mocktail bar;
- Immersive activities, such as real-time emotion detection using EmoSciens' artificial intelligence and a virtual reality experience that allows participants to step into the shoes of an autistic person, gaining a deeper understanding of their daily challenges.
