The Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal Foundation is pleased to announce the nomination of Martin Gagnon as Chair of the Board of Directors and Caroline Tison as Director.
Martin Gagnon has held the positions of Co-President and Co-Chief Executive Officer of National Bank Financial and Executive Vice-President – Wealth Management since July 2016 and is also a member of the Office of the President of the National Bank. Mr. Gagnon has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of banking, asset management and brokerage.
During his first visit to the Institute this past December, Mr. Gagnon had the pleasure of speaking with some of our professionals in our mental health programs. After his visit, he spoke in enthusiastic terms and with conviction to his desire to put his leadership, expertise and strategic vision to work for the Foundation.
Caroline Tison, Vice-President, Business Development, Rideau Recognition Solutions, is also joining the Foundation’s Board of Directors as a director. With an MBA in financial services, Ms. Tison is an experienced executive in the fields of business and philanthropy.
Mr. Gagnon and Ms. Tison take office effective today.
In the wake of these changes to the Board, the Foundation also announced the nomination of Robert Trempe as Secretary-Treasurer. Mr. Trempe is a corporate director, executive coach with Gestion Robert Trempe, and has been a member of the Board since 2015
